Canon Bajonettadapter EF-EOS R 0.71x

The EF-EOS R 0.71x bayonet adapter is an EF to RF adapter that maintains the original angle of view of the EF lens when used with an EOS C70. It also increases the relative speed of the lens used by about one step.

Keep the full angle of view

The adapter maintains the angle of view of a full-frame lens on the EOS C70's Super 35mm sensor, reducing the lens focal length by a factor of 0.71 from full frame to Super 35mm format.

One step brighter

By shortening the focal length of the lens, the EF-EOS R 0.71x bayonet adapter increases the effective speed and the effective aperture of the lens increases. A lens with a speed of F2.8 becomes an (approx.) F2.0 lens - for even better low-light characteristics with even less image noise.

Superior communication between lens and housing

Full communication between EF lens and camera body is maintained. This includes support for Dual Pixel CMOS AF1, as well as vignetting correction and chromatic aberration correction. The adapter also transmits lens information which is then displayed on the screen (aperture, focal length and lens metadata are supported).
