The centerpiece of a digital camera is it’s image sensor. Most cameras operate with more than eight megapixels and are usually Full HD and 4K ready. Most digital cameras work with different optics of different brands and their data is been saved to CF-cards, SD-cards, SxS cards or P2 cards depending on the manufacturer. Commonly they work with 4K, MP4, XAVC and RAW codecs while MPEG-2 is used often in the broadcasting sector.

Even digital cameras are high end products with a lot of technical components they still become lighter because of new technical developments, which is perfect when travelling or shooting a reportage. Also most of the digital cameras are spray water proved.
