Panasonic AK-HC3900

The AK-HC3900GJ/HC3900GSJ studio camera has been specially designed for broadcast and event transmission applications and is equipped with a large sensor for high sensitivity and excellent video quality. By combining the AK-HCU250PJ/PSJ/ HCU250EJ/ESJ Camera Control Unit (CCU) with the Remote Operator Panel (ROP), it is possible to create a low-cost, yet high-quality studio camera system using fiber optics for long-range signal transmission.

The cost-effective AK-HC3900 1080p HDR Studio Camera System with an upgrade option to 60p/50p native 4K resolution is ideal for educational, corporate and broadcast applications.

Equipped with a large sensor for high-quality video production

The AK-HC3900GJ/GSJ's RAW images are captured by an internal 4K imaging system, creating stunning HD-HDR images with an extended color space (ITU-R BT.2020). For internal 4K recording, the system can be upgraded to 4K 60p/50p production with native 4K video and 2000 TV cells of horizontal resolution.

The AK-HC3900 camera system includes simultaneous HDR/SDR output function, extended multi-format capability (1080: 59.94p, 50p, 59.94i, 50i, 29.97PsF, 25PsF, 23.98PsF; 720: 59.94P/50p) and a future upgrade option.

The AK-HC3900 studio camera achieves a high sensitivity of F10 at 59.94 Hz (2000 lx) and a signal-to-noise ratio of 62 dB with its sensor. The camera also offers a built-in motorized ND filter.

Cost-effective installation combined with high video quality - camera systems with fiber optic technology for signal transmission over long distances

The new AK-HCU250 Cost Effective Camera Control Unit (CCU) in combination with the new AK-HRP250 Remote Operator Panel (ROP) sends high quality uncompressed video and control signals to the camera head via fiber optics. When an SMPTE hybrid cable is used, the power supply for the camera is also provided.

In addition to the ability to output HDR and SDR simultaneously, the new CCU offers all the system features of the HC3800, plus the extended multi-format capability and 4K upgrade path of the HC3900's. New features also include 3G trunking and 3G prompter capabilities. The new ROP now also features PoE (no power supply required) for easy installation.
