Blackmagic Studio Converter

The 10G Ethernet ports on the Blackmagic Studio Converter and Blackmagic Studio Camera 4K Pro let you transmit all camera signals over the one Ethernet IP connection. Accordingly, the one cable carries all signals for camera feed, program return feed, timecode, reference, tally, talkback, and control. This provides the benefits of SMPTE fiber, but with a much cheaper, common 10G Ethernet copper cable. The Blackmagic Studio Converter provides studio-side separation of all video, audio and talkback signals. It also provides a lot of power, which powers the camera via the Ethernet cable. So you don't even need a power source near the camera.
