The AV-UHS500 12G SDI-compatible live image mixer has most of the basic features of high-end models, providing the same functionality for 4K video production as for HD video production. The integrated housing is easy to transport and is suitable for changing venues, especially for live events such as music, sports and other live events. In addition to 4K/3G/HD multi-format support, the installation of additional expansion cards allows for upgrading to up to 16x 12G SDI inputs and 15 outputs.

Keyers open up a multitude of possibilities for image design. Therefore the device is equipped with chroma keying functions and PinP for a maximum of three channels and two downstream keyers. The picture mixer is also equipped with conversion functions for up/down scaling, HDR/SDR and ITU-R BT.2020/BT.709. In this way, the video output can be flexibly selected according to requirements in environments where a wide range of formats are used. The 4K live image mixer is easy to use and provides excellent performance in live video productions, in a wide range of applications. These include, for example, the stagecraft of events, broadcasts from the transmitter or OB van, lectures at universities or conferences. In addition, five optional boards have been developed to meet customers' exact requirements. For increased flexibility and ease of use, the additional optional boards can be installed. This increases the number of inputs to up to 16x 12G SDI or 8x HDMI inputs. This ensures smooth operation, even in multi-camera applications.
