Powerful 4K recording

The 1.0-inch type sensor and Dual DIGIC DV6 processor ensure top-notch 4K UHD images. Image quality settings such as black level, gamma, knee, and white balance can be adjusted for optimal quality.

15x optical zoom at 4K UHD and 30x optical zoom at Full HD.

Capture distant details thanks to the stabilized 15x optical zoom (25.5-382.5mm equivalent KB full frame) that brings 4K footage up close and can be extended up to 30x zoom for Full HD shooting.

Rugged and sturdy housing

The fully sealed housing is IP55 waterproof and dustproof, plus salt-resistant. It can be used in temperatures from -15° to +40°C and humidity up to 90%. There is also an integrated wiper for a clear view.

The CR-X500 offers continuous AF on 80% of the sensor area. This fast and precise system allows flexible focusing for a wide variety of subjects - whether objects or people.

Precise control for exceptional footage

The CR-X500 features an advanced drive mechanism that allows panning left and right at speeds up to 0.5° per second. The camera is also compatible with the RC-IP100 remote control via the serial interface, ensuring the perfect shot.

HDR and wide color gamut for impressive results

Canon's Log 3 and Wide DR modes ensure the capture of first-class HDR images. This, together with the extended BT.2020 color space, ensures excellent flexibility.
