The CLR2 MKII is the successor of the CLR2 with now completely black design. Its range increased to 300 meters and the impressive performance, make it probably the most stable radio in its price class.
To find the optimal channel, the CLR2 MKII has a frequency scanner and an antenna function monitor, the DC-SCAN, which can be output via the HDMI port on the receiver. The wireless transmission of video signals and the frequency monitor can be used alternately.
Like all non-DFS systems of the DC-LINK family, the CLR2 MKII is compatible with all WHDI predecessor systems as well as with all other, larger systems and can be extended with additional DwarfConnection receivers as desired.
Multi Brand Connectivity: All receivers of the MKII series have different frequency sets to receive video signals from other manufacturers with non-DFS WHDI. Thus, all new DC Link receivers can be added to an existing WHDI system from other manufacturers.
With the MKII series of DFS-free video radios, Dwarf Connection has found a solution for sensitive content: By implementing an Encryption Mode, which can be activated in an uncomplicated way, connections with an infinite number of receivers are still possible.
The operation of the entire radio system, now known as "Master Channel Selection", works even easier than before. All receivers react to channel changes of the transmitter and follow automatically.
The unconditional commitment to quality and durability has led DwarfConnection to equip the CLR2 MKII with a fan. This can be switched on and off in the so-called Cinema Mode via the start/stop signal of the camera. Metadata such as timecode is also transmitted to all outputs.
The CLR2 offers beginners and video radio professionals the highest quality, functionality and flexible expandability, making it the ideal solution for wireless transmissions over short and medium distances. Complicated pairing is not necessary due to the proven manual frequency selection. The simple menu navigation and a high-quality OLED display provide the necessary orientation even in bright environments. Despite the small design, both the transmitter and receiver have HDMI and SDI connections. The receiver can supply up to three output devices via 2 SDI connectors and one HDMI connector.
In favor of the size of the unit, no permanently installed battery plates were used. By default, transmitter and receiver can be powered with the included D-Tap cables. The installation of optionally available battery plates is prepared and quickly and easily implemented. Coupled with the wide input voltage range of 9-18 volts, the CLR2 MKII thus offers the greatest possible flexibility in terms of power supply with the smallest possible design.
