The DC-LINK-ULR1 MKII is the successor of the ULR1. With a range of up to 1200 meters on direct line of sight, it is one of the most powerful WHDI systems on the market. The ULR1 MKII is backward compatible and can be combined and extended with the entire DFS-free DC-LINK WHDI portfolio.
To find the optimal channel, the ULR1 MKII features a frequency scanner and an antenna function monitor, the DC-SCAN, which can be output via the HDMI port on the receiver. The wireless transmission of video signals and the frequency monitor can be used alternately.
DC-LINK wireless systems achieve their special stability by deliberately omitting a DFS system (Dynamic Frequency Selection), but this means that they may only be used on the channels intended for this purpose indoors. DC Link systems always transmit an uncompressed, latency-free video signal with a maximum of 1080p60 4:2:2 10-bit.
For both transmitter and receiver the fans can be regulated or switched off completely. Especially for live use, the on-screen display (OSD) can also be turned off.
An OLED display on the transmitter and receiver provides information about the selected channel, the temperature and the battery charge level. Five large LEDs on the receiver indicate reception quality even in bright environments.
The ULR1 video radio transmits time code as well as start and stop signals. It is also one of those video radio systems that support fast switching between camera image and recording.
With the MKII series of DFS-free video radios, Dwarf Connection has found a solution for sensitive content: By implementing an encryption mode, which can be easily activated, connections with an infinite number of receivers are still possible.
The operation of the entire radio system, now known as "Master Channel Selection", works even easier than before. All receivers react to channel changes of the transmitter and follow automatically.
Multi Brand Connectivity: All MKII series receivers have different frequency sets to receive video signals from other manufacturers with non-DFS WHDI. Thus, all new DC Link receivers can be added to an existing WHDI system from other manufacturers.
