Product information "Sony XLR-H2"
The Sony XLR-H2 is the detachable XLR handle unit of the ILME-FX5 and adds two XLR/TRS inputs and 4-channel audio up to 32-bit float to the body-only variant.
Main features:
- 2× XLR/TRS combo jack (3-pin) with +48 V phantom power, each switchable LINE/MIC/MIC+48V
- 1× 3.5 mm stereo mini jack with plug-in power (stereo assignable to CH1/CH2)
- 4-channel audio input (CH1–CH4) with flexible input assignment and safety channels
- Sampling rates up to 96 kHz; 32-bit float recording in camera
- Dual ADC: two A/D converters with different gain levels per signal
- Separate WAV file (32-bit float) written to the memory card alongside the video
- ATT switch, low-cut and manual gain dial per input; overload indicators
- Digital transmission via the Multi Interface Shoe — no cables, powered by the camera
- Integrated microphone holder; 3 anti-twist threaded holes plus a hole for the accessory shoe
- Extended grip surface for low-position shooting
- Main body made of more than 41% recycled plastic (SORPLAS)
- Compatible with the ILME-FX5 (cannot be used together with the DVF-EL1 viewfinder)
